DLN Acquires New Partners and Contracts

DLN Consulting, Inc. is delighted to announce the acquisition of one new partner and three new contracts.

This year, for the first time, DLN will be working with the Wyoming Department of Transportation to conduct their statewide safety belt surveys.  In a separate contract with Wyoming Department of Transportation, DLN will be conducting the safety belt observation portion of the evaluation for a Demonstration Project with the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA), which will measure safety belt use by the driving population throughout the project.  This project, which began in January 2006 and extends through June 2007, will test the theory that a rural state can increase its overall safety belt usage rate by concentrating enforcement and media campaigns in targeted "priority" counties.

The North Dakota Department of Transportation will also be conducting a NHTSA Demonstration Project to test the "priority county" theory.  North Dakota's project runs concurrently with the Wyoming project, beginning in January 2006 and extending through June 2007.  DLN was awarded the contracted to conduct the safety belt observation portion of the evaluation for the North Dakota Demonstration Project.
