DLN Consulting Helps Develop a New Traffic Safety Toolkit
Extensive research and dedication on the part of the staff of DLN Consulting, Inc., helped bring about a new and exciting traffic safety toolkit intended for our Native American partners in Traffic Safety. The Rocky Mountain Region of the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) contracted with this office to collect traffic safety materials and information that had already been developed and
compile it in one location; a toolkit designed specifically for Native American Injury Prevention and Traffic Safety Specialists. The year-long project involved a large amount of time and even more dedication. DLN staff members researched websites and visited with partners across the nation to gather existing materials and data that could be added to the collection. Materials acquired dealt with safety belts, child safety seats, and drinking and driving. Once the materials were collected, DLN Consulting, Inc. staff worked with NHTSA Rocky Mountain Region and Robert Sharp & Associates (RSA), from Rapid City, SD, to develop an attractive and comprehensive website package. The toolkit boasts numerous resources and looks at community and national programs and highlighted projects.
