DLN Consulting, Inc. Presents the 2nd Dickinson Area Chamber of Commerce Lunch-N-Learn

Deb Nelson, President of DLN Consulting, Inc., was the presenter at the second Dickinson Area Chamber of Commerce Lunch-N-Learn, which was held on Thursday June 21, 2007 at the Dickinson Elks Lodge.  The topic of the presentation, which lasted from 11:30 AM-1:00 PM, was "Non-Profit Board Governance".

About 25 people from Dickinson, Killdeer, Beach, and New England attended the seminar where Ms. Nelson shared her experience and imparted valuable training and instruction about governance for non-profit boards.  Many topics were discussed including board member responsibilities and liabilities, how to run effective board meetings, how to set an effective board meeting agenda, differentiating between board member and staff member responsibilities, how to attract good board members, and how to run your non-profit like a business.
