Deb Nelson to present at the Great Plains Young Professionals Summit

Deb Nelson will be presenting at the Great Plains Young Professionals Summit taking place on June 15^th, 16^th and 17^th in Fargo, ND. The Summit is sponsored by the Chamber of Fargo Moorhead and West Fargo and the North Dakota Young Professionals Network. The Summit is an annual event that allows hundreds of young professionals to come together to grow their skills, network with other young professionals, and learn how to influence their community.

Deb’s presentation is titled “The Young Professional & Rural Values: A Cultural Clash” which will talk about the importance of cultural understanding between young professionals coming to work in rural communities where they are highly needed, and the rural communities and the local people. Deb will also touch on the influence of one’s cultural background on their attitude and the difficulties that naturally come when working in rural communities.
