Oil Patch Truckers for Safety
2011 Safety Fair
August 1, 2011Community Action Partnership of Dickinson and Southwest Coalition of Safe Communities are partnering with businesses to fund an educational safety event for oil patch truckers. The event will include education, lunch, snacks, and door prizes.
Planned activities:
• HazMat fingerprinting Information
• Drug dog demonstrations
• Distracted and impaired driving activities
• Featuring the remote controlled SImulated DriviNg Experience
• Other information and activity booths by area safety organizations
Invited presentations:
• Road safety and restrictions
• Permit procedures
• Standardized Field Sobriety Testing for alcohol and drugs
• Recent changes to trucking regulations (e.g. CSA2010)
• Multi-county permit system
Sponsorship Opportunities are available. Sponsors making more than a $500.00 tax-deductable donation will receive benefits that include booth space, recognition at the event, and logo placement on all print materials and marketing efforts. Sponsors making less than a $500.00 tax deductable donation will receive free booth space at the event.
To ensure your organization will be included in the marketing campaign, we will need to receive your commitment no later than August 5, 2011.
